The specimen has a beautiful very light green to white color with many
perfect hemispheres of pectolite dramatically rolling across the basalt
vug. There are also a couple of strange, flat calcites on it. The
specimen is a huge, deep vug, 15 X 8.5 X 7 cm. With it's rare
size and form, this pectolite vug certainly represents the top 5% of
the displayable specimens from this quarry, absolutely dramatic for its
form and perfection.
